The handle on this Limited Edition FMR has been made from an offset from the stock of a best shotgun. This was made in conjunction with a best London stock finisher who has previously worked at one the top London gun making companies.
Originally designed for British farmers, gamekeepers and other professions who work in the countryside, the FMR has been designed and manufactured with harsh working environments in mind.
Higher grade materials have been specified on this knife to ensure that it will always be up to any job asked of it; the last thing we wanted was for the knife to let the user down at a critical point.
The dimensions of the FMR have been carefully considered to ensure that it can tackle a full range of cutting tasks whilst fitting comfortably in the hand without feeling bulky when carried in a trouser pocket.
The FMR was designed in Britain and manufactured by Thornmore’s partners in Italy who have an exceptional reputation for the high quality manufacture of knives.
